Long Lake, which is about 10 miles in length and covers 4867 acres, has a good variety of fish species and a public boat launch nearby. It is located approximately 30 miles northwest of Portland and the Coast. There is a variety of recreational activities in the area, including Shawnee Peak Ski Resort.
